Henk-Jan is a doctoral candidate in the philosophy departmentĀ involved in research and teaching. His promotors are Prof. Dr. Ir. M. Boon and Dr. M.A.J. MacLeod.
In 2022, he graduated with a master's in Biotechnology atĀ Wageningen University & Research and in 2024 in Philosophy at the University of Twente.
Organisations
His research revolves around understanding and developing epistemology and methodology in chemical science and engineering. His PhD is part of the EU DREAM project in which chemists and chemical engineers research and develop breakthrough technologies in biomass processing: https://dream.cnrs.fr/.
