I am Assistant Professor in Narrative Research, and my interests revolve around storytelling and discourses related to environmental questions. I'm especially interested in people's experiences of reading and watching environmental or climate change -themed stories. I'm also interested in mobile devices and applications and especially mobile apps related to modern spiritual practices. Since 2012, I have been fascinated by the concept of agency, and have studied e.g. how people discursively construct agency in therapy. My teaching activities include supervising Bachelor's and Master's theses and lecturing and tutoring in qualitative research methods and many areas related to clinical practice, such as the Mental Health module. Prior to becoming an academic, I worked for 10 years as a clinical psychologist in various places around my country of origin, Finland.
