I am a Ph.D. researcher in Industrial Engineering and Management Science at the University of Twente, affiliated with the Center for Healthcare Operations Improvement and Research (CHOIR). I hold a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tabriz and an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Koç University, where I graduated with distinction.
My research focuses on developing advanced optimization and data-driven decision-support methodologies for healthcare systems. In particular, I am interested in integrating operations research with machine learning, especially reinforcement learning, to address complex, real-time decision-making problems under uncertainty. My work includes applications in healthcare logistics, such as intra-hospital transportation and cross-border ambulance positioning, aiming to improve efficiency, responsiveness, and overall system performance.
My research interests include healthcare optimization, healthcare logistics, reinforcement learning, and operations research.
