Hugo Daguerre received the M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Applied Sciences of Lyon (INSA Lyon), France, in 2018.
From 2018 to 2021, he worked toward the Ph.D. degree with FEMTO-ST Institute (CNRS), Besançon, France. Within the course of his doctoral thesis, he collaborated with Prof. P. Renaud's microsystems laboratory (LMIS4) at EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland, and he was visiting researcher with Prof. M. Sitti's Physical Intelligence Department in Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, Stuttgart, Germany. He received the Ph.D. degree in Automation and Robotics from University Bourgogne Franche-Comté, Besançon, France, in 2021. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher with the Surgical Robotics Laboratory of the University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands. His research interests include microrobotics, microfluidics, and autonomous small-scale devices for biomedical applications.
