After completing my Bachelor Creative Technology and Master Interaction Technology here at the University of Twente, I continued as a researcher in the Human Media Interaction (HMI) department. My research interests lie with how people interact with technology, and using that knowledge to develop new and improve current technology to be more accessible to a wide audience.
My Master thesis focused on creating a tool for simplifying informative patient-facing medical texts using a Large Language Model. I continued this research by developing an LLM-based text-to-dialogue converter for translating informative medical text to conversational agent dialogue, to support medical experts working on e-health tools.
I am currently working on developing a multi-agent chatbot platform where separate agents take on different roles.
During my time as a student, I participated in several extracurricular activities at the UT: board years at study association Proto, umbrella association OS (Organisation of Study Associations), and CBR (Central Tenants Council), EEMCS Faculty Council member, minute taker for the CreaTe and I-Tech Programme Committee, and chair of the evaluation committee CRITEEC.
