About Me
I am an assistant professor of geophysics working on subsurface characterisation and monitoring.
My main research interest is constructing models of the subsurface using seismic waves (from the ambient noise field and earthquakes) in integration with potential field methods, and especially satellite observations. I have a bachelor in geophysics from Helwan University, Egypt. After that, I did an MSc in Earth Resources Exploration (2013) and a PhD in geophysics (2018) at the University of Twente. Then, I did a 1-year postdoc at the Technical University of Delft, and finally, I came back to the University of Twente as a postdoc and then Assitant Professor.
