After receiving my Masters' degree in Human Factors and Engineering Psychology at the University of Twente, I started working as a teacher at Saxion University of Applied Sciences, mainly in the field of behaviour and technology. Next to teaching, for example, STEM and Persuasive Technology, I supervised students in writing their bachelor thesis for obtaining their bachelor in Applied Psychology.
Half a year later, I started my PhD here at the University of Twente, within the Power4FitFoot project. Within this project, we follow a participatory multidisciplinary development approach to develop personalized self-management products and services to prevent Diabetic Foot Ulcers (DFU). My supervisors are prof. dr. Lisette van Gemert-Pijnen and dr. Floor Sieverink. Along my PhD, I am still involved as a teacher in the bachelor Applied Psychology at Saxion.
