I am an assistant professor focused on understanding decision-making and behaviour change in the criminal domain. As part of my job I actively collaborate with the sections of Public Administration, Psychology Health Technology and Communication to achieve interdisciplinary research and education. In addition to this I also act as secretary of the HIB-cluster.

In my research I focus on understanding decision-making and behaviour change in the criminal domain. For both criminals and potential victims I aim to find out how they might get involved in crime and how to prevent this from happening. In one of my research lines I focus on cybercrime and how to make potential victims more resilient. In another research line I focus on the application of virtual reality to understand burglars, the training of potential guardians and how crimes can take place in virtual environments. Lastly, I am interested in the use of AI for both crime prevention and how crime potentially can take place.
