Ilaria is a Postdoctoral Researcher exploring how practitioners can make more desirable futures through alternative future(s) making approaches. She highlights the relevance of an inter-organizational, forward-oriented, and engaged approach to future(s) making. She also explores and presents to practitioners the potential of design-driven imaginative approaches to future(s) making and future-making labs as alternative settings for imagining and shaping futures. She holds a Ph.D. in Management Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.

She has published on Creativity and Innovation Management Journal, Research-Technology Management and She Ji: The Journal of Design, Economics and Innovation.
