Jord studied Chemical and Process Engineering (BSc and MSc) at the university of Twente. After graduating, he started his PhD on catalytic membranes for light paraffin dehydrogenation at the University of Twente in October 2020. His research combines experimental and modeling studies with process simulations to assess the potential application of catalytic membranes in this reaction type. This work potentially allows for substantial reductions in energy usage and CO2 emissions of industrial processes for the production of plastics.
