I’m a Portuguese Biomedical Engineer, recently graduated from the University of Twente, the Netherlands. Since I was little, I have found it fascinating to work and help people improve their health using technological solutions.
I have the pleasure of fulfilling this as I’m currently working on my own project. Having won a TTT Voucher for 20,000€, I’m following my Master's Thesis, developing a Novel Shoulder Retractor for surgery, in collaboration with the BDDP department of the University of Twente, aiming to aid a very much in need approach that could relieve both patient and clinician.
