About Me
Johannes Steinrücke graduated from the Research Master Methodology and Statistics for the Behavioural, Biomedical and Social Sciences at Utrecht University in 2017. He completed his BSc in Psychology at the University of Twente in 2015. During his master’s thesis project, where he worked on developing a sequential testing algorithm for Serious Games using a Bayes Factor, he spent some time in the Silicon Valley to collaborate with a company developing a serious game for pre-schoolers in the US.
In September 2017 he started his PhD project at the research group of Instructional Technology (IST), where he was working on assessment and instructional interventions in digital game based learning environments. He successfully defended his dissertation in September 2021.
After completing his PhD project, Johannes started working as a Lecturer at IST.
