I graduated with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Twente in 2020 and went on to earn my MSc in the same field in 2022. During my studies, I developed a strong interest in structural dynamics, both from an experimental and numerical perspective. Through an internship and graduation project at high-tech companies, I gained valuable insights into the structural dynamics challenges currently faced by industry.
As part of my PhD, I will focus on the structural dynamics of assembled systems. The localised and potentially nonlinear behavior of joints presents challenges for modeling these systems. I will work at the intersection of the AMDA and DBM research chairs, combining their expertise in modelling and testing of mechanical structures.
