Keisuke Fujiwara was born in 1995, in Osaka, Japan. He obtained his Bachelor (2018) and Master (2020) of Science in Chemistry from Osaka Prefecture University, where he belonged to an organic synthesis chemistry laboratory and conducted research using Pd-catalyzed reactions.
After graduation, he worked as an R&D Engineer at JSR Corporation (2020-2022), focusing on the development of modified S-SBR and S-BR. Since 2023, he has been with ENEOS Materials Corporation as an R&D Engineer in the Tire Materials Development Department, engaging in the development of resin and crosslinked particles.
His technical expertise includes living anionic, cationic, and emulsion polymerizations, monomer and organic synthesis, as well as compounding techniques for PCR and racing tire tread formulations.
Currently, as a visiting researcher at University of Twente, he is working on the development of modified recovered carbon black (rCB). His research aims to contribute to future tire compounding trends in line with global movements toward recycling and sustainable materials.
