Koen Nijland is a PhD candidate at the Manufacturing Systems chair of the University of Twente and a researcher at the Employability Transition research group of Saxion University of Applied Sciences. His research combines the fields of organizational design, work design, human-machine teaming and human-centered technology to design human-centered manufacturing systems that foster both job quality and manufacturing performance.
