Kas Sivaguru is from Chennai, India. He received his Bachelor's degree in 2016 and worked as a research associate at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras under Dr Ashok Jhunjhunwala for 2 years before moving to the United States for his Master's degree. He worked in the industry after his Master's degree, with his most recent experience at Resonant Link Medical, where he specialized in high frequency power electronics and inductive wireless charging.
He joined the Power Electronics & EMC (PE) group at the University of Twente in August 2026 as a PhD candidate for the OdyssEV project. His research interests include optimization of power converters, wide bandgap semiconductors and magnetics.
