Lisa Bakir is a PhD candidate at IEBIS and NIKOS at the University of Twente. Her PhD research deals with customer participation in servitization, studied from a dyadic perspective. Hereby, the research aims to explore customers' role in collaborating with manufacturing firms to provide business solutions. This research is in collaboration with Fontys University of Applied Sciences. Lisa's research interests focus on marketing. Her research interests are buyer-supplier relationships, customer value, customer participation, servitization, and organizational processes. Lisa obtained a MSc in Business Administration (cum laude) at the University of Twente. 

Apart from her academic work, Lisa is part of BMS PhDs for PhDs, a joint initative born in 2015, which has two aims. Namely, strengthening the PhD network within and beyond the faculty of BMS and advising the BMS Faculty Board regarding PhD policy. Additionally, in collaboration with her colleague Katharina Lemmens-Krug, she designed and implemented a BMS PhD Portal

Servitization in SMEs (servitisering in het MKB) is a project funded by the Province of Limburg under grant number SAS-2016-04214 for the regional development of the province. The aim of the project is to support and promote growth in the competitiveness of SMEs by new service developments to drive business model innovation. The project consortium involves the lectorate Business Service Innovation from the Fontys University of Applied Sciences and the departments IEBIS and NIKOS of University of Twente.
