Hanh La is a lecturer in Economics, Text Analysis, Sentiment Analysis, Machine Learning, a researcher in Science, Technology & Innovation, a consultant on emerging technological applications. I have various teaching and curriculum design experience at the Faculty of Economics, Academy of Finance in Viet Nam; the School of Business and Economics, Maastricht University; the Swiss School of Management; and in the minor Data-driven Decision-making at the HAN University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.

Research-wise, I have been involved in the Ph.D. project "DNA Nanoscience and DNA Nanotechnology – Delineation, Exploration, and Implication" at UNU-MERIT/Maastricht University, the self-initiated R&D project "Application of DNA Nanotechnology in liver cancer diagnosis” (funded by the German Central Innovation Program for SMEs- ZIM and the Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology) and the ASTRAIOS (Analysis of Skills, Training, Research, and Innovation Opportunities in Space) project at ITC/University of Twente (funded by the European Union).
