MOSAIC: enhancement of MicrOfluidic Sensing with deep symbolic Artificial IntelligenCe
Accurate measurement of flow, pressure, other physical quantities and composition of mixtures of liquids and gases is crucial in many applications, e.g. production of vaccines, drugs, food, semiconductors, energy systems and drug delivery. Microfabrication technologies enable the integration of multiple sensors into a single chip. Calibration of these sensors filters out potentially useful information. More and probably undiscovered information about the liquid and gas mixtures could be gathered from the raw sensor signal. The combination of smart sensing structures and deep symbolic Artificial Intelligence expands the possibilities of deploying conventional microfluidic sensors for multiple applications.
