L. M. Winkelman MSc BA (Lisa)

I am a PhD candidate with a specific focus on the workplace learning of production workers, my research is part of the much bigger NWA project Smart Skills@Scale. In SS@S we work closely together with practicioners to develop tools and interventions that make impact. I want to know more about production workers and the companies that they work for, but I especially want to make sure that my findings contribute to them. I focus on the things that relate with why production workers engage with learning, how they do so and how this can be stimulated. These questions are more important than ever, since we are preparing the workers of today for the technology of tomorrow.

During the coming years I really want to delve deeper in the learning process of these production workers and the possibilities of job design. I am really happy that I get to combine my backgrounds in Educational Science and Human Resource Management in this fascinating project.
