I am a PhD Candidate within the field of Mathematics Education under the department of Applied Mathematics in the chair of MIA (Mathematics of Imaging and AI). My research is in the fields of Mathematics Education and Engineering Education. During my Master in Science Education I particularly looked at the development of critical thinking in students through problem solving methods, while I currently research assessment. In particular, I look into the implementation of alternative forms of assessment to give better insights into students' understanding and to lower lecturers' workload.
