Mirre is working as a PhD candidate at the section of Psychology, Health and Technology. Her research focuses on triggers for reactive aggression, and on the co-creation of a blended trigger intervention within forensic mental healthcare. Additionally, her interest lies in the user experience and implementation of technologies within the healthcare sector.
Mirre obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a specialisation in Health Psychology and Human Factors Engineering Psychology at the University of Twente. Subsequently, she obtained a Master’s degree in Human Factors Engineering Psychology and in Interaction Technology, both at the University of Twente. She has also worked for three years as a UX designer and researcher within the healthcare sector.
