M. Georgino (Mônica)

Mônica holds a Bachelor’s degree (2009) in Agricultural Engineering from the University of São Paulo (USP) and earned a Master’s degree (2019) in Industrial Engineering, with a focus on Procurement and Finance, from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). She is currently a PhD candidate in Industrial Engineering at UFSCar, with a research focus on Procurement and Sustainability.

She has more than 19 years of professional experience in market intelligence, production costs, and procurement competitive intelligence, having worked at institutions such as Cepea (2006–2010), Cosan (2010–2011), Raízen – a joint venture of Shell in Brazil (2011–2020), and Comgás (2020–2021).

Over the past five years, she has been teaching Procurement in postgraduate programs at ESPM (since 2020), Albert Einstein College (since 2021), and BRevi2 (since 2023, an institution affiliated with NEVI). She also delivers customized in-company training programs in procurement and supply management.
