About Me
Muhammad Hamza Khalid is a PhD at the group Mathematics of Computational Science (MACS) in the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Twente.
His research interests are in model order reduction, and scientific computing. Currently, he is working on the DeepNL project, "Comprehensive monitoring and prediction of seismicity within the Groningen gas field using large-scale field observations". The focus of his research is on the development of model order reduction methods to resolve an inverse problems, or for the generation of sizeable training data sets in e.g., structural health monitoring applications. His application interest lies in global seismology, wind turbines, and offshore floating platform structures.
