I am Mark Tempelman, a university lecturer in the Communication Science program at the University of Twente, with expertise in guiding students through critical stages of their academic journey. I specialize in the coordination and supervision of bachelor internships, pre-master research projects, and bachelor as well as master’s theses. As such, I aim to ensure that students receive structured, practical, and academic support in developing their professional and research skills.
As a contact person for the Communication Science program with regard to the professional field, I actively foster connections with professional partners. I see it as a challenge to align the content of the program with professional practice, with the aim of promoting student mobility and facilitating (inter)cultural and academic experiences for students.
In my role within the Communication Science program, I strive to create a learning environment in which students not only acquire theoretical knowledge but also develop the skills and perspectives needed to progress towards the (international) professional field od activity.
