I'm Funding Officer at the Technical Medical (TechMed) Centre of the University of Twente. This means I'm involved in positioning of and funding acquisition for researchers, strategic initiatives and R&I projects in the field of health and medical technology. I do this in close collaboration with the colleagues of SBD - Grants Office.

- To talk funding opportunities for their health related research idea;
- With questions on grant applications (national, EU and international) in the health domain;
- If they want to be nominated by TechMed for a prize or award;
- If they are looking to connect with specific health-related expertise;
- If they are lost in UT's support services and don't know who to turn to;
- If they are working on a crazy idea and need a partner in crime.
I'm also a member of the Daily Board of the 4TU.Health impact center - as part of the alliance between the four Dutch Technical Universities. 4TU.Health supports multi-TU iniatives in the Health and MedTech domain. Together with my 4TU.Health colleagues, I'm an active advocate for the role technology can play in solving health-related societal issues. In my work for 4TU.Health, I focus on how research on health technology and MedTech fits within the Dutch funding landscape, creating opportunities for research and innovation, and connecting researchers with synergistic expertise across Technical Universities and other research organizations.
