M. Pilar Ruiz joined SPT Group at the University of Twente in June, 2017. She has a Ph. D. Degree in Chemical Engineering, obtained from the University of Zaragoza (Spain) in 2008. M. Pilar Ruiz occupied for four years a position as Research Assistant at the University of Oklahoma (USA). Later she joined Abengoa, an international company on renewable energy, to develop research in the areas of bioenergy, water and hydrogen. Her expertise is focused on development of sustainable processes for biomass conversion and chemical recycling of plastics.
