I have a strong background in biology and ecology with a focus on the biology of populations and ecosystem functioning. As a PhD student, I'm currently immersed in cutting-edge research. My work revolves around assessing and mapping soil biodiversity in temperate forests, using innovative techniques like metabarcoding, GIS, and remote sensing. I have experience in fieldwork from sampling design to data collection and in laboratory work (e.g. soil chemistry, eDNA analysis). Through my work, I strive to contribute to a greater understanding of our planet's biodiversity, enabling informed decision-making for its protection and preservation.
