In 2024, I received my master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Twente. During my master's studies, I specifically focused on medical device design. For my master thesis, I dived deeper into the anatomy and biomechanics of the human foot to design a bioinspired prosthetic foot.

Directly after graduation, I started as a PhD candiate in the Biomedical Device Design and Production (BDDP) group. As part of my PhD research, I will be working on the DYNACURE-project, where I will primarily focus on the design of a novel smart implant to permanently correct scoliosis.
