Yasir is currently a 2nd year PhD student at the Industrial Engineering and Business Information Systems (IEBIS) group at University of Twente, the Netherlands. He works under the supervision of dr. A. Abhishta and prof.dr.ir. L.J.M. Nieuwenhuis from IEBIS group at University of Twente. His doctoral research is funded under NWO project MASCOT – MeAsuring Security in Cloud OuTsourcing. His research focuses on using empirical methods to measure the security and resilience of cloud service ecosystem against cyber risks. To achieve this objective, he uses Internet measurement techniques to investigate cyber risk in cloud services from two perspectives: as cloud providers and as cloud consumers.
