dr.ir. M. Zangiabady (Mahboobeh)

I am a lecturer at the Design and Analysis of Communication Systems (DACS) group, University of Twente, where I specialize in computer networks, routing algorithms, graph analytics, and applied graph theory. My work extends to social network analysis, examining the influences of these networks on communication and interpersonal relationships.

I advocate for innovative educational approaches, both in and outside the classroom, to enhance engagement and effectiveness in learning. I strive to cultivate a safe, friendly, and interactive learning environment, encouraging students to make mistakes, explore, self-learn, take risks, and inquire. This supportive atmosphere enables them to devise creative solutions to real-world challenges. I truly believe a focus on innovative teaching is critical in STEM education due to the constant and rapid technological advancements.
