I am currently a PhD student in the Chair of Laser Processing, Department of Mechanics of Solids, Surfaces, and Systems (MS3), Faculty of Engineering Technology. I am working on Selective Laser Etching of Sapphire (SLE), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ir. G.R.B.E. Römer.

My research focuses on identifying the origins of crack formation in ultrafast laser-irradiated sapphire samples. This project is part of the National Growth Fund plan, PhotonDelta, and the subproject on hybrid integration of Silicon Nitride.

Prior to joining this project, I completed my Master of Science in Physics from the University of Hyderabad, India, in 2023. As part of my master's thesis, I worked on controlled fabrication of Laser-Induced Periodic Surface Structures (LIPSS) and explored its application in Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS).
