I am Programme Coordinator of the Master's programme in Humanitarian Engineering and a lecturer within the Humanitarian Engineering group at the University of Twente. My work focuses primarily on engineering education, with particular interests in:

  • Competence-based education & assessment
  • Challenge-based & community-engaged learning
  • Interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary learning
  • Curriculum development

Originally from the Czech Republic, I have an interdisciplinary educational background spanning the social sciences, education, and technology. I earned a BSc in Social Pathology and Prevention in 2016 and an MSc in Social Pedagogy from the University of Hradec Králové in 2019. In 2020, I completed an MSc in Educational Science and Technology at the University of Twente.
