I am a PhD researcher in the Systems Engineering and Multidisciplinary Design (SEMD) group at the University of Twente. My research focuses on bridging paper-based systems engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) by integrating human-centered visualization with formal digital modeling approaches.
In collaboration with Canon Production Printing, Rademaker, and VMI, I investigate how visual representations such as A3 Architecture Overviews (A3AOs) can be translated into structured digital formats to enhance communication, consistency, and knowledge transfer within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Before starting my PhD, I worked as a Product Manager and UX Designer in the SaaS and FinTech sectors, with a focus on human–AI interaction and information modeling. I hold an MSc in Industrial Design Engineering (Human–Computer Interaction) from the University of Tehran, where I graduated as the top student of my program.
