About Me

Doctoral Candidate in the Orthopaedic Research Group at the Department of Biomechanical Engineering at the University of Twente. My research interests focus on orthopaedic disorders of the lower extremity, joint biomechanics, and medical image-based musculoskeletal modeling techniques to build and optimize evaluation tools for orthopaedic patients. Since 2022, I am a member of the European Society of Biomechanics, Orthopaedic Research Society, and International Society for Technology in Arthroplasty. In 2023, I was honored to receive the Early Career Investigator Award, bestowed by the International Society for Technology in Arthroplasty.

Besides, I contribute to the biomedical community development by being the founder and leader of Biomedical Engineering Group Twente - a scientific group of more than 130 members, shaping future research directions in the field of orthopedic biomechanics, surgical robotics, and rehabilitation technology.
