I am a lecturer at the department of Applied Mathematics, affiliated with the Discrete Mathematics and Mathematical Programming group.

After graduating from the University of Twente in 2006 with an MSc degree in applied mathematics, I did a PhD in theoretical computer science in the Algorithms and Complexity group at Durham University (England). I then worked as a postdoc in the Algorithms Research Group at the University of Bergen (Norway) for four years, before joining Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences as a senior lecturer in 2014.

Before moving to Twente in 2020, I worked as a team lead and OR engineer at ORTEC B.V. in the team responsible for the development of ORTEC’s vehicle routing software, in particular its optimization engines.
