I obtained my master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering (Medical Device Design track) from the University of Twente. During my studies, I developed a strong interest in orthopaedic biomechanics and the translation of biomechanical principles into clinically meaningful applications. My research interests are lower extremity disorders, joint biomechanics, orthopaedic implant development, and computational analysis.

Currently, I am a researcher in the Orthopedic Research Group at the University of Twente. My work focuses on experimental human movement analysis and the development of personalized musculoskeletal models. By integrating motion analysis with image-based computational modeling, I aim to improve the understanding of knee joint biomechanics and phenotyping in both healthy and pathological populations.
