About Me
Robert Meijer studied Applied Physics at the University of Applied Sciences in Enschede. He has also followed the first year of the course Process Technology at the University of Twente. He started his career at a consultant company in 1985 and moved to the University of Twente as a technician in 1991. Initially, he started in the group of Prof. van Swaaij. Later on he became research technician in the group of prof. Kuipers. He started his work for the PCS group in 2010.
He has a key function in building setups, including automation of setups with LabView, the development of reactor setups and technical support of MSc students, PhD students and postdocs. Furthermore, he is responsible for maintenance of group facilities, financial budgets and computer-related issues. He is also responsible for ordering chemicals, consumables and equipment.
