Professor Packaging Design and Management (part time)

About Me

Structural packaging design is complex because of the number of aspects that have to be taken into account. We do research after the role of packaging in sustainability, how to design convenient packaging and the influence of packaging design on choice behaviour of consumers. The research projects lead to better understanding of decisions to be taken during the design process.

The chair is being paid by the NVC Netherlands Packaging Centre with support of 13 companies with the objective to raise professionalism in the field of packaging.

Besides my work at university I work at Plato product consultants as designer/consultant of packaging related problems.
