I am a PhD candidate and study the heating transition in the Netherlands, especially in the province of Overijssel. My research looks at how stakeholders—like municipalities, housing corporations, and utility companies—work together to choose and design heating systems. I am especially interested in how they manage the complexities of this transition, such as:
- Working with different parties.
- Adapting to changing regulations.
- Making decisions across multiple scales.
- Dealing with technologies that vary greatly in scale, infrastructure demands, and the types of actors involved.
Feel free to contact me if you’d like to know more about my research or discuss related topics.
