I am currently an Assistant Professor of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering in the Department of Design, Production, and Management at the University of Twente, The Netherlands. I received my Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Biomechanics in France, with a background in Materials Science Engineering. My expertise spans both research and teaching, covering diverse areas such as materials science, energy, bio/mechanical engineering, mechanical design, smart manufacturing (IoT, PLM), numerical simulations, and scientific programming, with applications in energy systems, biomechanical design, and intelligent manufacturing. I have contributed to the advancement of biomechanical systems, the enhancement of solar energy collectors using hybrid nanofluids, and the development of simulation-driven optimization frameworks for complex engineering processes.
I hold two European teaching qualifications (UTQ, The Netherlands; national teaching qualification, France) and bring a global perspective shaped by international collaborations, research projects, and academic exchanges, enriching my contributions to academia.
Organisations
My research spans biomechanics, smart manufacturing, and sustainable energy, with a background in material science. I apply my expertise in material science, modeling, material behavior, and structural mechanics to simulations across disciplines. In sustainable energy, I have explored the use of hybrid nanofluids in solar energy collectors, improving thermal and optical performance. In smart manufacturing, my research includes the development of advanced numerical simulations to optimize engineering systems and manufacturing processes.
Research profiles
At the University of Twente, for Master’s IDE students, I led the redesign of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) course, integrating 3DEXPERIENCE and real-world applications. I have also participated in the Advanced 3D Modeling course with Siemens solutions. Additionally, I supervise groups in various courses in ME/IDE, including Smart Products, Design and Manufacturing, and Consumer Products.
Courses academic year 2025/2026
Courses in the current academic year are added at the moment they are finalised in the Osiris system. Therefore it is possible that the list is not yet complete for the whole academic year.
