dr.ir. S. Arastehfar (Soheil)

Assistant Professor

About Me

Soheil is holding his BSc, MSc, and PhD in Robotics, Electrical Engineering (Control), and Mechanical Engineering (Manufacturing) respectively. He received his PhD from National University of Singapore in 2015, and served as a Research Fellow for three years at the same university. After that, Soheil joined Deakin University, Australia, as a Lecturer in Mechatronics. He is currently an Assistant Professor in DPM at UT.

Research

Soheil's research interests are Robotics and Automation, Robot Control, and Marine Robotics. Soheil was a member of the team designed and developed MantaDroid, a robotic manta ray, at National University of Singapore.
