Research

Dr. Salih Çevikarslan is an economist interested broadly in innovation.  The center area is technological change and its relation to economic development. This also brings him into areas such as industrial dynamics, circular economy, R&D processes and innovation strategies.  In his research he uses both data-driven statistical methods and computational modeling. With regard to the latter, he has mainly developed multi-agent based computer simulations from an Evolutionary Economics perspective.
