In the Micro-HS project, we are developing a heat battery for long-term heat storage. We focuss on the application of salt hydrates (CaCl₂) in domestic environment. To be able to utilize the full potential of salt hydrates, the salt needs to be stabilized. My PhD focusses on the production and characterization of composite (core-shell) salt particles.

In-air microfluidics, particle production, encapsulation, photopolimerization, 3D-printing, TCES, salt hydrates, TGA/DSC/STA, domestic heating
