About Me
During the master's Bioinformatics & Systems Biology (VU University & University of Amsterdam), I came in touch with predictive modeling in healthcare. Since then, applying data science to improve healthcare is really interesting me.
In September 2021, my PhD-trajectory has started. I am currently involved in a clinical trial focused on applying continuous monitoring by a wearable (Philips' Healthdot) at the acute admission ward of the Rijnstate Hospital in Arnhem. The goal is to develop AI-based models to predict patient deterioration and discharge. Besides Rijnstate and the UT, Philips Research is also involved in my PhD.
