The secretary is now called "Management Assistant". There are a few secretaries with the title of "Secretary". I am proud to be called a secretary. It is a tough job. You are everywhere for everyone all at the same time. Employees expect you to know everything even when you don't. The secretary is the boss in all respects. She knows what is going on more than the boss knows. The employees feel more comfortable talking with her than the boss. They confide her. Here are the duties of a secretary that I have encountered during my career so far: psychologist, marriage counselor, nurse, dentist, social worker, office supervisor, office manager, travel agent, receptionist, doctor, teacher, E-mail supervisor, caterar, photocopy machine technician, DHL/FedEx expert, mail room manager, babysitter, plumber, carpet cleaner, gift buyer money collector, gift buyer, florist, baby shower coordinator, bridal shower coordinator, anniversary coordinator, paranymph. Have I left out anything? But you know what? That's what makes a secretarial position so exciting for me. It is always challenging, always exciting, never boring and I wouldn't have chosen any other career for the world. I am proud to be a secretary!

MY PROFILE: helpful, tenacious, can-do attitude, a good teamworker; but can also take initiative and lead, responsible, great organization skills, representative, driven, with high levels of energy and enthusiasm, reliable, strong in establishing and maintaining contacts. My greatest passion in life is to help others in any way I can. My heart lies with the people less fortunate than us, which is why I help to support various projects; such as Child Sponsorship Program in Indonesia, where we hope our support will make a difference to the children's quality of life, education and ultimately their futures.
