About Me
I am an Associate Professor of Stochastic Operations Research in the Industrial Engineering and Business Information Systems Department (IEBIS) at the University of Twente. Before joining the department, I was an Assistant Professor of Quantitative Methods for Logistics at the University of Münster, Germany, and, prior, a post-doctoral research associate in the Department of Operations Research and Financial Engineering at Princeton University.
I mostly work on sequential decision making under uncertainty with applications in energy systems and logistics. In my recent research projects I’ve focused on algorithms for asset-backed short-term energy trading, on real-time vehicle routing algorithms for last-mile delivery applications, as well as on studying the financial value of operating electric vehicles.
