Since December 2023 I started as a PhD candidate in the BRAINmodel consortium, where I integrate the expertise in micro- and nanofabrication from the University of Twente with neuroscience from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
My work is focused on developing a high-throughput drug screening assay for excitatory/inhibitory (E/I) neuronal networks, ultimately aiming to contribute to the design of new drugs that provide personalized treatments for patients with neurodevelopmental disorders.
I came to the Netherlands in 2021 to pursue a MSc in Chemical Science & Engineering, at the University of Twente, where I specialized in Molecular & Materials Engineering.
