S. Mazumder (Subhrojyoti)

Dr. Mazumder is a researcher with expertise in the material science of ceramics, particularly non-oxide ceramics. He is currently serving as a scientific researcher at the University of Twente, collaborating closely with SKF Netherlands on hybrid bearings. The research focuses on advancing crack-healing technologies for bearing components fabricated from silicon nitride ceramics.

Dr. Mazumder earned his Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from the University of Malaya (2023), where he focused on developing wear-resistant ceramics for extreme operating conditions, including high stress and elevated temperatures. He holds a Master's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (2017) and a Bachelor's degree from the West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata (2013).
