Utku S. Yavuz is a physics engineer with M. Sc. and PhD degrees in biophysics. His main research focuses on decoding the neural control of human movement and specifically on the role of sensory-motor interaction in this control system. To this end, he uses the computational biomedical signal processing and analyzing tools. Throughout his research career, he worked in several European projects and led the Electromyography and Motor Control Laboratory at the Institute of Neurorehabilitation Systems, University Medical Center Göttingen in Germany. He is now assistant professor at Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Sciences, Department of Biomedical Signals and Systems.
